I have been unable to exercise properly for years due to spinal problems. Even pilates can be triggering. Having one-to-one sessions with Merisaa has assisted me to have a strengthening, yet gentle and supple way

of moving, that is tailored to my nuanced body strengths and weaknesses. I felt the improvement from the first session.

You have heard people wax lyrical about how practicing yoga makes so much difference to their wellbeing. You may even have tried yoga yourself but couldn’t find the class to suit you or perhaps you couldn’t build a consistent practice. Your mind may be telling you:

This is a yoga class with a difference. It is a class focused on helping the participants directly through energy and movement with their particular life, body and emotional blocks. It is more than 'yoga'.

 

I’m MeriSaa and I built up tension in my body over many years because I didn’t know which way to turn with life’s challenges. Overtime I became sick. For me it was intuitive to move my body and through study and doing the inner exploration I shifted that which was causing me to become stagnant in life. Nine years ago I became a certified yoga instructor and use various modalities now to help people to do the same. I can help you too.

 

Week by week in this Virtual yoga-led experience we will home in on what needs shifting. Each one of us is unique but we are all trying to reach to a life of vibrancy, purpose and peacefulness.

 

Build a consistent practice where we focus on healing and reaching these levels of vibrancy and empowerment.

The Healing Culture of Yoga 14-week course

The Healing Culture of Yoga is a new 14-week online theory and practical course involving: movement, breathwork, mindset exercises and deep inner work.

 

Led by MeriSaa Heqama, this course uses the Laws of Kemet to enter into a weekly journey to build principles and practices for your own life to be able to reach a level of self-awareness in order to thrive, have confidence, and go get what you want from life.

 

This course is for those who:

 

  • Worry over life in general

  • Have anxiety

  • Practise self-doubt

  • Practise procrastination regularly

  • Locked in unhealthy relationships of all types

  • Practise Self-sabotage

 

Also for those who:

  • Want to know the Kemetic principles and practises

  • Want to use the Kemetic principles and practises to heal their lives

  • Want to learn the postures and movement of the Kemetic Gods and Goddesses

  • Want to use movement (yoga) to help shift stored emotions in the body

  • • Tell the story of our creation and other Ancient stories through the depictions of the Ntroo

  • • Discover how each posture connects us to ourselves,

  • • How and why it is vital to make ‘yoga’ part of our own life through following the principles set by the Divine World.

  • Equip you to do your own inner work

  • Create a blueprint based on your own values to build daily practices to help you to thrive in life

Your guide

MeriSaa Heqama provides yoga-led experiences through courses, workshops, retreats, one-to-one and group classes. She is based in London, England and Tanzania, East Africa.

 

Passionate about her own growth towards Self-awareness, MeriSaa continues to do the inner work herself and uses her own knowledge and experience to help others.

 

MeriSaa has 27 years practising many various forms of yoga, is certified in Kemetic and African Yoga and has been teaching for 9 years. She teaches yoga for healing and incorporates talking therapy into her one-to-one and group classes both for adults and children.

 

She initiated into the Kemetic cultural and spiritual teachings learning healing, language, meditation and yoga over a 2-year period.

 

She is currently training with a healer in various modalities to bring deeper self-knowing, and to be in service to others.
